Vintage Coin Silver
In this collection we’ve paired pearls with Silver Tribal Jewelry (also known as Indian Temple Jewelry) worn by tribal people of Gujarat and Rajasthan in Northern India. These are handmade symbolic pendants that have been worn throughout the Hindu world for centuries, honoring various deities and heroes while seeking divine protection.
Die-stamped on sheets of 800 coin silver, a traditional mixture of silver and other metals, these pendants are believed to be between fifty and more than one-hundred years old. Considered vintage and antique, some pendants have worn edges and a weathered appearance. This is normal for their age and not indicative of flaws or defects. If preferable, they can be cleaned with a polishing cloth to bring back a shinier finish.
